Mount Kenya is an equatorial mountain where the annual daylight hours are constant with twelve-hour days. Our organic avocado farms are located on the highly fertile volcanic soil on lower slopes of Mt. Kenya, enjoying abundant rainfall and equatorial sunshine throughout the year. This favorable altitude of Mt. Kenya slopes at 2000 meters ensures our avocados have a healthy fruit growth with required size, shape and premium quality. 

Export Size and Eco-friendly packaging:

Biocado exports both Hass and Fuerte organic avocados from Kenya. Hass biocado, are most in demand due to excellent ripening characteristics. Biocado adheres to international size standards while also tailoring to individual customer needs upon request. Following international trade practices, our biocados are classified according to Size Codes 1 to 30, with a minimum weight of 123g or 80g for Hass biocado. We also ensure that the difference between the smallest and largest fruits within a package is not more than 25g.

Our European customer’s preferred sizes for Hass biocados are 16–18, and sometimes 20 per 4kg box and 10kg cardboard crates, often for importers that ripen and repack avocados are also available. We customize our packaging requirements on our clients’ needs and market segments. All biocados are cleanly packed with tender-loving-care in a new Eco-friendly and Quality packaging based on HACCP Quality Assurance Accreditation, adhering to international export standards to prevent damage and protect your precious avocados.
