Biocado: a responsible choice for our conscious consumers
Biocado as a responsible supplier of organic avocados has evolved to become a premium choice for our conscious European consumers of organic avocados. Therefore, we adhere to a set of global certifications to demonstrate our good practices and food safety. Common certifications include GlobalG.A.P. for agricultural production and BRCGS, IFS or similar HACCP-based food safety management systems for packing houses. These management systems are recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

Biocado promotes the SDGs through our Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Projects. The 17 SDGs are interdependent, Biocado recognizes that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that our development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability. In order to ensure our business model is environmentally sustainable and socially responsible, we promote: Good health and well-being for our farmers, quality education for their children, ensure gender equality at our premises, work towards providing clear water and sanitation through our social projects in rural parts of Kenya and promote responsible consumption and production cycles with our local and global partners.
